But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed]”. 1 Corinthians 2:9 (AMPC) Jesus, as the firstborn Son of the Living God, opened wide the door of salvation and invited us all to become sons and daughters to His Heavenly Father. He then said: “Everything the Father has given to Me, I give to you.”
You have all the privileges of a Child of God, the rights to a rich inheritance, found in Christ Jesus; the full measure of His goodness towards you; along with His abundant provision, and His extravagant grace. That is what good Fathers do. Don’t let an earthy experience of a father or family, that may not have reflected God’s true heart and intentions, rob you of the good gifts that flow down from His heart of love. Only ask, beloved one—trust and rely on Him in every way. He has good things planned for you, each and every day. God is Father over all. He is a kind and loving Father, constant and unchanging, and with good things planned in His heart of love, He is desiring always to care for, and care about, deeply loved and divinely held, you. Look ahead with hope and joy, heart of His own heart, to all the good things He has planned, to all that is so wonderfully yet to be! Prayer: I thank You Lord, for every moment of every day, of this year gone by. I thank You for Your goodness and Your grace; Your “moment by moment” miracles of mercy—those I was aware of and those I did not see! You are kind, loving, gracious, and good, and in the most glorious ways, Your goodness has been over me! I thank You Jesus for all You have done, to open up the Heaven’s and God’s Kingdom reality, for those who may never known Him before; changing all of our lives and inviting us to be a part of Your family. I surrender my life, secure in Your love today, Lord. I embrace with a grateful heart all You have done, all You are doing now, all You have granted to me by grace as a divine inheritance, and all that is yet to be! Blessed Trinity, forever faithful and true, the honour is Yours alone. In all the world, in all of time, there is no One as majestic, more worthy of all praise, or more glorious than You!
