Lord, you are my secret hiding place, protecting me from these troubles, surrounding me with songs of gladness! Your joyous shouts of rescue release my breakthrough. Pause in his presence…” Psalm 32:7 (TPT)

Whatever captivity has come your way—sin, sickness, sorrow, bitterness, rage, anger, jealousy, poverty or lack—whether the bondage is physical, spiritual, or emotional, binding you to the thoughts that torment and hem you in—your rescue and release is at hand. God’s ways are higher than ours and if we seek His counsel and hide our lives in Him, He will lead us and guide us into the fullness of life He has for us. 
 
However, if we have taken a different path than the one He has chosen for us, that does not cause Him to run away or leave. Quite the opposite in fact. He runs to us, to rescue and redeem us from our sins, shortcomings, messes and mistakes—to release us into the greater liberty we have in Christ—Who gave His own life so that we could be free!
 
Imagine, divinely loved one, when every voice wants to shout condemnation, criticism, or control, your wonder-working God is singing instead His own melody from heaven, clear and sweet! They are songs of gladness, shouts of joy, and demon defeating declarations of breakthrough! 

Listen, dear heart. Can you hear the sound of His salvation song? Those are the joyous songs of heaven—the melodies of sweet mercy He is singing over you!

Prayer:

Attune my ears today, Lord, I pray, to the sound of Your voice and to the melodies of mercy that are flowing from You.

So often, I hear the sound of condemnation—from within and from without, but I would much rather hear You!

You know the places I am stuck, Father, the need for deliverance and the areas of breakthrough. I hide myself in You alone and I wait, watch, and listen for your shouts of rescue, powerful and strong,  that will release me from it all, and carry me through.

Oh, the sweet sound of heaven, Lord. The saving sound of deliverance from You!
