Let your love and steadfast kindness overshadow us continually, for we trust and we wait upon you”! Psalm 33:22 (TPT)

Dark shadows can linger in our lives—connected perhaps to past failures, with regrets attached, and judgments set in stone. Fear and insecurity may overshadow our present circumstances with uncertainty and doubt, leaving us fumbling in the dark when it comes to future plans. However, light always dispels the darkness, in whatever form that darkness takes, and the only truly pure, and healing source of light comes from Jesus Himself, for He is the Light of the World!

Precious one, if you can trust Him, even for a moment, step away from all that is blocking out the beauty of the life God has for you. Remember, your past He has completely redeemed. He is fully present with you in this exact moment of time, and He has the most glorious and brilliantly bright future planned for the days that are yet to be. 

Wait and trust, beloved. Hang on even if you don’t see it all clearly right now. His unfailing kindness is upon you continually—never lifting; never leaving; never letting go.

Turn your face to heaven each day, for the glory of the Lord has risen upon you, in the most beautiful ways! Step out of any shadows the darkness has cast, and step fully and completely into His marvellous light. Shine as you were always meant to, cherished one, in every area of your life. Let the goodness of the Lord, His grace and His glory, shine through!

Prayer:

Today, Lord, I thank You for Who You are and for all You do. Not only for me but for all those I care about, too.

Your goodness and Your grace are over us continually; Your kindness and Your loving care. 

I know I can bring all the worries and all the weights I carry to You, for Your miracles of mercy are always at work to set me free. Even when I cannot see.

Oh, glorious God, there is no One like You. No one Who loves and cares and is more gracious than You. No One more worthy of praise. No One more faithful and true.

Bring the fullness of all You are and all You have for me this day to pass, in Your goodness and for Your glory alone, I pray.
