I will send a great Helper to you from the Father, one known as the Spirit of truth. He comes from the Father and will point to the truth as it concerns Me”. John 15:26  (VOICE)

It is not always easy to know who is telling the truth, and who is not—and we can often make judgments based on what we see or think—but the reality is, we only see in part. This is where real truth, God’s truth, is so important, as it is His truth alone that sets us free! A key in all of this is to put aside our own thoughts and judgments, even of ourselves, and truly see as He sees.
 
God in His kindness never expected us to do that alone. In fact, He sent us the precious Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, to lead us and guide us into all truth—to allow us to see, hear, and understand the heart of God; to perceive and receive the life of Jesus and His healing words; and to walk in the glorious deliverance that is our inheritance in Christ.

Holy Spirit knows the Father’s heart for you, and the truth of all that you have been through. He knows every word and hope-filled promise that Jesus has made and exactly how to apply them. And He knows the pain and brokenness you have experienced, and that of others too.
 
He will help you to define and gain deeper insights of the past, in light of God’s redeeming love; understand the various trials you have encountered and endured; bring revelation and enlightenment to situations and circumstances in this present moment; and paint a true picture of the glorious future ahead. The place of set aside, beauty, where you are truly meant to be!
 
Whenever you struggle to understand something, whenever confusion comes and chaos surrounds—just ask the Holy Spirit Who is with you always. He will come to you as Truth, with liberation from the lies close at hand, just as the Father desires it to be. No more brokenness or bondage for you, dear heart. You have God’s help from heaven, and with His truth in your midst, your freedom is guaranteed!

Prayer:

Come Holy Spirit of the Living God and separate the lies in my life from the truth of Your Life in me, so that I may be free.

Remove all that is not of You—words spoken to me or by me—and flood my life with the sweet sound of freedom found only in Your redeeming grace.

Holy Spirit, You are the Spirit of Truth—my Comforter, Counsellor, and Friend. 

I lean into and I lean on You. Teach me and tell me about Jesus and help me to walk in His ways.
