“Quiet your heart in his presence and pray; keep hope alive as you long for God to come through for you.” Psalm 37:7 (TPT)

So often in life, especially in times of great stress or distress, we try so hard to figure out what we can do to make it better. There may be things that we can do, tangible actions that will make a real difference, but before we step out into any of that, the better way is to step fully into God!

He is the Source of every solution; He is the anchor for our soul. He is the substance of all we need; our help and our Eternal hope. In Him is fullness of life. As you step back into the reality of Who He is for you, and Who He is in you, everything changes.

You can settle your heart here, lean in and listen. You will hear His words of comfort, encouragement, and cheer—sense His tender call to surrender and not to strive; to rest and not to worry or to work. Why? He wants you to know, beloved child of the Most High God, that everything that needs to be done, He will do it for you—His strength made perfect, even in your weakness—for in Christ, there is no shadow of turning, no shortage, and no lack.

Abundant blessings are your inheritance. Don’t let anything dissuade you from this truth. Step back into Love and let Love flow freely to you. Quiet your heart in His presence. Rest, trust, and be. Then see, from this place of peace, just how magnificently He will come through, in ways you could never imagine—for chosen, cherished, and deeply loved, you! 

Prayer:

Lord, I confess how often I let stress and striving rule the day, instead of hiding my life in You—safe and sheltered away.

Even in that Abba Father, You know my weakness, my worries, and my fears. Show me what I need to do today, that only I can do. Show me what I need to pray, then leave the rest to You!

You are trustworthy Lord. Faithful and True. In Your Holy Name, I make these requests to glorious and wonderful You.
