“For You have been a shelter and a refuge for me, a strong tower against the adversary.” Psalm 61:3 (AMPC)
Storms of life can come unexpectedly. Waves stirred up from a once silent sea, wanting to knock you over or knock you out. Or is may be the on-going, one wave after another without letting up, kind of storm, that has a tendency to wear you out, more than knock you down.

Yet tucked away inside the heart of God you can hide until the wind and waves of life have passed. Nestled close to the One Who calms those storms and bids them all to cease, you find rest; you dwell in peace as He hushes the hurricane winds to a whisper.

Look at the storms from the vantage point of being sheltered in Him, for He is big—bigger than any or all that stands against you—and He is strong—strong enough to fight for, deliver, cover, and care for you.

Oh beloved, never fear, the God of your Salvation is here!
