But no instrument forged against you will be allowed to hurt you, and no voice raised to condemn you will successfully prosecute you. It’s that simple; this is how it will be for the servants of the Eternal; I will vindicate them”. Isaiah 54:17 (Voice)
Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all. Even Jesus did not try to defend Himself when false accusations swirled around, as He knew in many cases, no matter what He said, or how He said it, He would not be heard. People had already made up their minds about Who He was and perhaps it is the same for you? No matter how hard you try to explain, people aren’t really listening; having their own judgments about who they think you are, they just can’t hear.
There are those who may use strong words against you, not really knowing your heart, or your hurt. In those cases, it is best to remain silent, trust in God, and let Him speak for you. He will vindicate you; He will shield and protect you if you are walking in His truth; even as you have confessed to Him where you are not. He is able to work on your behalf, in ways you never could.
Welcome the Precious Holy Spirit as the Spirit of Truth, into your own heart first, so you can see your true beauty which may have been blurred by all the words and the wounds. When you see as He sees, and hear what He is saying from His heart of love, you are already free!
Then invite Him into the confusion and the chaos all around, and watch, worthy one, as the Holy Spirit, Who specializes in bringing order out of chaos, does exactly that—and does it so beautifully and so brilliantly, for beautiful and brilliant, you!
Lord, You alone know the chaos and the conflicts—the ones I have caused and the ones I wanted no part of but they came just the same. I do invite You to come today Holy Spirit, in the muck and the mire, the mess and the mistakes, and re-work, restore, and set everything in right order again.
I can’t do it on my own. I can’t do it without You.
Let my life look like You want it to look. Let is be a glorious reflection of You.
In Christ’s Holy Name, I pray.
