[The Lord] appointed the moon for the seasons; the sun knows [the exact time of] its setting”. Psalm 104:19 (AMP)

Every moment of every day, in all the world, in every life, with its flawless rhythms and unfolding wonder, was held in the heart of God from the beginning of time. And when God was setting the seasons for the sun and the moon—He was setting the seasons in divine order for you, too!  His first priority is to lead you to the place of intimate connection with Him, in Christ, where true life flows, and from there lead you in the divine purposes He has for you—always inviting—always encouraging you towards His best. 

There are times when we may be out of alignment with God’s perfect plan for us, and things seem a lot harder than they need to be. Even that He has prepared for, with His new mercy mornings, readily available to you, with a chance to begin again with the dawn of each day and rising sun!

If you find yourself rushing ahead and feel suddenly alone, just turn around and see Him coming towards you. From there He will lead you back to the place where provision waits and into the fullness of where you are meant to be.

If you have lagged behind in the richness of all that He has planned—perhaps a lack of confidence or courage has kept you back from what you knew God had designed for you to do—He will meet you there too. Encouraging, supporting, and leading you, step by step, into His very best. In His lovingkindness He will not force you, rather staying with you exactly where you are, yet continually holding the possibilities before you of what could be, allowing you to choose.

Each season has a purpose; each season has a lesson to be gained as you align your heart with His—moment by moment, day by day, season by ordered season. He has perfectly planned those days, precious one, for the sun, the moon, the stars—and for purposefully chosen and deeply cherished you! 

Prayer:

I thank You, Creator God, that You have formed the universe, and You hold it all together so that it will never fall apart.  I thank You that You hold my days and my universe too in just the same way—intentionally, purposefully, lovingly, carefully—perfectly planned by You.

Where my world has been out of order, Lord, I ask today that You would recreate it to be in perfect alignment and harmony with You. Where I have gone ahead, or lagged behind, would you be able to re-order that too? 

You are source of my joy and gladness, Lord. You are the Maker of dreams come true! In all my ways, and with a grateful heart, I acknowledge You.
