God is good, a hiding place in tough times. He recognizes and welcomes anyone looking for help, No matter how desperate the trouble”. Nahum 1:7-8 (MSG)

Tough days, temptations, and trials can wear us out. Cares and concerns pile up with crushing weight and if we are not careful how we navigate through these situations, we can find ourselves in some serious trouble! Sorrow tracks us down and we can’t always get away. Yet your Miracle Working God, the One Who loves you so, is standing still in the midst of the storm; beckoning you to stop running; to cease from striving; and to turn instead and hide in Him. 

He knows the specific challenges you are facing; and understands the difficulties of these days; but He is not concerned in any way. No matter how troublesome the circumstance or painful the situation, He is, and has, the answer to it all. Tucked away in His love, you are hidden from trouble, safely out of sight. You can rest here and breathe. You belong. Desperation disappears as you hear the beating of His heart—beating passionately and protectively over you. 

Calm your soul, treasured one, in the safety of His arms until the day of trouble has passed, until the storms disappear; until the Answer speaks and all is well. The Eternal One, your Champion Defender is on the scene and nothing is too difficult, or too desperate, for His redeeming love.

Wrap yourself up in the radiant beauty of His presence and put your trust in His kindness and care. Welcoming arms are open, beloved. Press in and find your place of safety there.

Prayer:

Dearest Lord, You alone are my radiant hope and I trust You with all of my heart. You have been faithful in the past, always, to turn things around, causing it to work out for Your absolute best. Often in ways I could not always appreciate or see. 

You are good Lord. Your plans are perfect. Your love is strong and steady; kindness is Your character; circling and empowering me, all the days through.
