Blessed be the Lord, Who bears our burdens and carries us day by day, even the God Who is our salvation”. Psalm 68:19 (AMPC)

The days can be long and difficult at times, with nights leaving us lost and lonely, along life’s way. Burdens are heavy and hearts hurt, but walking this road alone, weighed down by the weight of it all, was not what your loving God had in mind for, deeply loved and cared for, you! He knew there would be trials and challenges staring you down and wearing you out, but He never meant for you to carry it on your own. In fact, He never meant for you to carry it at all! 

Day by day, this strong, capable, wise and marvellously able God says, “Precious one, come to Me. Bring your burdens, cares—the things that weigh you down and the things that wear you out. Release them into My strong and capable hands for I am waiting, at the ready, and more than able to carry them for you, and to carry you.  Trust Me, joy of My heart, and walk free.”

You see, infinitely loved one, not only will He lift your burdens, but your Champion God, will also lift and carry you! Listen to the sound of your Salvation Song! God, Who is mighty to save, is in your midst, and He is 100% devoted to you.

Lean into His love, cherished one, for it is always waiting and abundantly available for you. That is His heart towards you, every moment of every day, and it just doesn’t get better than that!

Prayer:

Today, Lord, You more than anyone else know the burdens that I am carrying—the worries and the weights. I know it is not Your will for me to be overwhelmed by all, or any of this, and yet somehow I hang on to it still.

Would you come now, Holy Spirit, in Your kindness and Your love, and lift this from me? Would you speak Your words of comfort and care to my weary heart and help me know that You are there? In all the ways and places that salvation is needed—in my own heart, soul, spirit and body, in my family, and all of life’s challenges and trials—You are my Salvation Song. You are the answer to it all.

Day by day, Lord, even today, in faith and hope, I look to and lean into, You. Strong and Might God, thank You for carrying and caring for all of this. Thank You for caring for and carry me!

With a heart full of thanksgiving, I praise Your Holy Name.
