The Lord is a warrior; The Lord is His Name”. Exodus 15:3 (AMP)
We may know our gracious God as the One Who holds us close, keeps us in His tender care, and gently loves us back to life. Doing so even in the times and places where it doesn’t feel like there is much life to love. However, we must also remember that our gentle and loving God is also the One Who fights for us and fights against all that fights against us too. Not only is He a warrior King but the victory that is His alone is already won.
What is it today, cherished child, that stands in the way of the fullness of your inheritance in the Beloved? Are there enemies within—self-doubt, recriminations, regrets, or condemnations that have taken hold? Enemies without, found in circumstances too big for you to manage, or complications too difficult to navigate? Fear not, for His presence is powerful and He has not lost a battle yet. He is the One Who fought for your heart every day of your life, and He will continue to contend for you, and for all that matters and concerns you in just the same way.
Mount up, precious one, on the wings of eagles. Remain tucked up secure in His protective love. Then watch as the Lord, the Lord, majestic and mighty, goes to war on your behalf. Let King Jesus, the Lord of the Breakthrough, breakthrough today for you!
Oh Lord, what a comfort this is, to know that You are the Lord of the Battle, and that You fight for me.
Come, by Your grace, into all the places where a breakthrough is needed. Come and break open the way in to the beautiful and broad places You have planned.
Be victorious in my life today, Abba. Bring Your breakthrough-victory, in Your strength and supernatural power, I pray.
