“[Psalm 18] [To the Chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David the servant of the Lord, who spoke the words of this song to the Lord on the day when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. And he said:] I love You fervently and devotedly, O Lord, my Strength.” Psalm 18:1 (AMPC)
What’s chasing after you today, precious one? Is it doubt, despair or discouragement? Is it shame, regret, or fear? No matter what form it takes, the source is the same, for the enemy of our souls comes to rob, steal, and destroy if he can, in whatever way he can. However, Jesus, Who has come to give us life in abundance, and life forevermore, is greater than it all. He has defeated that enemy at the Cross and passed that same overcoming authority on to you!
He has delivered you from the snares and the strongholds, the self-doubt and shame, and placed you securely in His love—silencing the sound of sin and stunning us with the beauty of His saving grace!
Oh, chosen one, don’t let the enemy have a hold on you, with his lies and accusations. Instead, put your hand in the hand of Your God Who is strong and mighty to save. His power knows no end. His deliverance complete and without limit. He is here, ready, willing, and entirely able to save you in all the places saving is needed. A true Saviour is your Jesus. In every way He is your Redeeming Strength and your Salvation Song!
