What’s chasing after you today, precious one? Is it doubt, despair, or discouragement? Is it shame, regret, or fear? No matter what form it takes, the source is the same, for the enemy of our souls comes to rob, steal, and destroy if he can, in whatever way he can. However, Jesus, Who has come to give us life in abundance, and life forevermore, is greater than it all. He has defeated that enemy at the Cross and passed that same overcoming authority on to you!

He has delivered you from the snares and the strongholds, the self-doubt and shame, and placed you securely in His love—silencing the sound of sin and stunning us with the beauty of His saving grace!

Oh, chosen one, don’t let the enemy have a hold on you, with his lies and accusations. Instead, put your hand in the hand of Your God Who is strong and mighty to save. His power knows no end. His deliverance is complete and without limit. He is here, ready, willing, and entirely able to save you in all the places where saving is needed. A true Saviour is your Jesus. In every way, He is your Redeeming Strength and your Salvation Song!

Prayer:

Breakthrough today Jesus, with the brilliance of Your presence, into the storm clouds of my life. Some of them are internal—a raging sea within. I look for Your peace and Your presence to set things right again.

Some are not of my doing and I feel powerless to help, so I cry out to You my delivering God, for You always hear my cry, and champion my cause.

With all who are opposed to me Lord, and in all that is set against me, I run to You. Your path for me is perfect Lord; Your promises are true. Come most Holy Father, and do what only You can do.

You are my Maker; my Mediator, Jesus, and my Master. All good things come from You.
