“Hurry with your answer, God! I’m nearly at the end of my rope. Don’t turn away; don’t ignore me! That would be certain death. If you wake me each morning with the sound of your loving voice, I’ll go to sleep each night trusting in you. Point out the road I must travel; I’m all ears, all eyes before you.” Psalm 143:7-8 (MSG)
Peace, rest, and trust. These are God’s gifts to you, waiting for you with each new morning, at the ready to tuck you in each night. Stress may be there too, worry and anxiety, trying to lead you down its path of destruction—simply don’t go—no matter how hard it pulls.
Stop dear one, and pour out your heart to God. Acknowledge what you are feeling and release it all into His capable hands—He is right there with you, waiting and wanting to lift the burden, and ease the pain. Sit down for a moment and breathe deep of His love. He knows you may try, or even need to take it all back a time or two, to look it over once again—then hand it right back into His capable hands, and let Him do what only He can do.
He understands the road you are on, and He will meet you there. Then point the way to better days, leading and guiding you by His blessed Spirit, every step of the way!
