Your pleasant path leads me to pleasant places. I’m overwhelmed by the privileges that come with following you, for you have given me the best! The way you counsel and correct me makes me praise you more, for your whispers in the night give me wisdom, showing me what to do next. Because you are close to me and always available, my confidence will never be shaken, for I experience your wrap-around presence every moment”. Psalm 16:6-8 (TPT)

There are many choices before us each day—paths of opportunity that beckon, doors wide open waiting for us to walk through, and we are not always sure what the road ahead will look like, or what is best to do. However, when we allow the Lord to lead the way, staying close to the sound of His heartbeat, we will never go astray!

Beloved, the way that God has chosen for you leads to pleasant places, filled with the privileges that come from being a son or daughter of the Most High God. These are all things He planned for you before the beginning of time—days filled with all His kind intentions towards you, to reveal His goodness and His grace!

If you have gone in a particular direction or opened a door you were never meant to—call out to Him exactly where you are now. His wrap-around presence will meet you there and lovingly guide you towards the perfect path He has chosen for you.

The past can have a way of wanting to pull you back into its disappointments and pains, its shame or regrets. Dear heart, don’t let it. You have an appointment with the future! A glorious future, carved by hand and waiting for you. A future God ordained and approved. Trust Him and believe. Your future is lovely and beautiful—just like you!

Prayer:

Jesus, I thank You that You know right where I am today, and You know exactly where I am meant to be! If the two don’t line up as the Father had planned, then I ask that You would lead me back to His paths of peace.

Where I am wondering, You are wisdom. Where I am wandering, You are the way!

I breathe deeply of Your love today, Lord. I receive Your wrap-around presence and Your perfect peace. Placing my hand in Yours, I look forward to walking with You all the days of my life—on Your pleasant paths, filled to overflow with the good things You have planned.

Oh Lord my God, there is none like You in all the world! You are most worthy to be praised!
