Your pleasant path leads me to pleasant places. I’m overwhelmed by the privileges that come with following you, for you have given me the best! The way you counsel and correct me makes me praise you more, for your whispers in the night give me wisdom, showing me what to do next. Because you are close to me and always available, my confidence will never be shaken, for I experience your wrap-around presence every moment”. Psalm 16:6-8 (TPT)
What glorious, good news to know that in the midst of all that goes incredibly right, and especially for all that goes terribly wrong, we have God’s moment by moment mercies to begin again! A new moment, a new day, a new start every step of the way!
And not just a fresh start on our own to try and figure out what went wrong and how to get it right—but a new beginning where God Himself is at work, right now in your midst, making things go well for you.
Don’t look at the circumstances, precious one, or the broken pieces all around. Look instead into the eyes of love, and see His joy in making your dreams, and His dreams for you, come true. That’s what new beginnings with the God Who rebuilds and restores will do!
What glorious, good news this is! Too high for me to truly comprehend, that You Father God, would outdo Yourself to make things go well for me! Even in the places I have missed Your best by not following Your ways, You come, in Your mercy and kindness, and step in, turning me, and all things concerning me, around, and make it right.
Where I missed the mark, I ask Your forgiveness Lord. Please come now in Your kindness and re-do, repair, and restore, as only You can do. For me, and for my family, too! You know the joys and the celebrations, the sorrows and the pain, and You alone can make all things new again.
Come Holy Spirit of the Living God. Lead me and guide me into all truth for You are the Spirit of Truth. Show me how to make a new start today and to forever walk in Your ways.
You are a gracious and loving God and I thank You will all of my heart. Today, Lord, I begin anew with You!
