We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us! But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love”. 1 Corinthians 13:12 MSG
We all lose our way from time to time. Someone beckons us down one road, and we quickly realize we should have taken another. We walk down a path, thinking we know exactly where we are heading and what we need to get there, only to find out, there is no pot of gold at the end of this rainbow, only a whole mess of brokenness to try and make right.
No need to despair, weary one, if this is you! You have a Helper, a Guide—the Precious Holy Spirit, your faithful Companion and trusted Friend. He will pick you up when you are down and where you are lost—He will turn you completely around—leading you back to the place where the sun shines bright, and everything is clear.
Allow faith, the faith of God and your faith in God, to steer the course ahead. Hope in Him—His nature, character, and ways. Trust Him completely for He will do all that He has promised for you!
And love, dear heart, His wrap-around love, endures forever; opening our eyes to amazing possibilities; surpassing our greatest expectations; leading the way on the joy-filled path He has planned.
Lord, I welcome You today into all the places where I cannot see as you see. Into the circumstances and situations that are beyond my understanding—past, present, and in the days to come!
Come in Your love; come with Your truth. I place my trust in You; my eternal hope; my salvation song.
You are the worthy One, Lord. All praise belongs to You!
