“For I will pour out water to quench your thirst and to irrigate your parched fields”. Isaiah 44:3 (NLT) 

Dear Heart, are there areas in your life today where the fields are dry and parched? Family, faith, finances? Don’t lose heart, dear one, for the Lord Himself has promised to send rains in season, to water, to refresh, to restore. He has declared His good intentions towards you—that you would prosper under the favour of His love—for you are His own dear child.

Thirst for Him today, beloved, for He alone can satisfy. The depth of His love is greater than the depth of your thirst, His abundance fully able overcome your lack in every area of need. He is greater, stronger, able, and desiring to do all that He has promised—for you and for all that you hold in your heart, too.

Never forget, cherished one, that He alone is the Source of all you need and His desire is to see you prosper, with fields of abundance and great harvests of joy and gladness—for your good and for His glory!

Lift your face to heaven today, cherished one, and let rain of His presence wash your cares away. Look at those dry fields once again and watch new life burst through. That, dearly loved one, is what the One Who loves you so, will do!

Prayer:

Dearest Father, I stand in the midst of the dry ground of my life—the places that are broken; the needs I cannot meet; the fear I cannot escape; and I look to You.

Send Your rain from heaven today, by the power of Your Precious Holy Spirit. Send the rain of Your love. I wait here for You.

Jesus, in all the places of need, longing, and desire; the deserts of despair; I hope in You.

Blessed Trinity, in all my life, You are all that is right and true. The pure and living water that satisfies; I thirst for You.
